Dinner Party

After gathering a million ideas on Pinterest, I finally had a fancy dinner party this weekend!  We invited 5 couples, the Moores, the Grovers, the Iversons, the Evansons, and the Merediths, and we had so much fun!  It was a liiiiitle stressful getting everything ready, especially since Jonathan was at work so it was all up to me, but I somehow managed and I think it turned out pretty great.  

 We borrowed tables and chairs from the church, I bought a bunch of fabric and made the runner and the napkins.  My centerpiece crafty thing from pinterest did not work out so I went with the standard lemons in glass container center piece. 

 I actually think the table turned out pretty well.  I was happy with it.  The papers you see are seating assignments and menus.  Here's a single place setting:

 I finally found the perfect strawberry soup recipe, it turned out really well.  But of course the prettiest part was dessert:

 All in all it was a lot of fun, we had a really good time and I like the think our guests did too! I only managed to snap one picture, while everyone was there.

After this is got pretty dark.  We lit the candles, and brought out more candles and enjoyed ourselves.  I had fun putting the whole thing together and I'm already making plans for the next one!
