Christmas celebrations

Merry Christmas! Jonathan and I had an excellent Christmas.  We are so blessed to have so many great friends and such great family.  We started a little early with present opening at our house on the 23rd, so we wouldn't have to bring them with us to my parents. We even changed into our pajamas so it would look like Christmas morning.

We have a lot of awesome family and we got a lot of great gifts.  Thanks to everyone!

Then, on the 24th we drove to Arlington for Christmas with the Eyerlys!  We thought we wouldn't get in until about 11 because we didn't think Jonathan would be able to get out of work early, but they let him out at noon so we were in Arlington by 6! We bought "his and hers" burritos for the trip.

Christmas Eve was great, we had a family fireside and learned some cool family history stories, then we all opened our Christmas Eve presents: Snuggies!

Christmas morning was filled with flying wrapping paper and lots of "just what I wanted"s and plenty of Thank Yous.  Here are Jonathan and I with our stocking booty:

This is what the rest of the morning looked like:

That evening we played a rousing game of minute-to-win-it: Christmas Edition.  It's a lot of fun watching people be ridiculous.  The games were all fun and Christmas themed.  I'm considering doing some for our New Year's party as well.  Here's a couple of highlights:

More fun ensued the next day, when, after a day of shopping and game playing, the adults got all dressed up and left for the evening.  First was dinner at Zio's (seriously love that place)

Next came Les Miserable! My parents gift to the kids was tickets to the showing at the Windspear Opera House, it was incredible!

The whole evening was really amazing and a great time spent with family.  It was the perfect gift!

And I spent the rest of the weekend with my favorite baby boy.
